Boracay Properties

For so many backpackers, travelers, sojourners, even the free-spirited historians and sun-worshippers from all over the world, there is only one beach capital in the world - Boracay.

Located at the northern tip of Panay and endowed by nature with one of the world’s finest and loveliest palm-fringed white sand beaches, Boracay has attracted thousands of foreign and local tourists and has become one of the most favored destinations in the Philippines. The busiest season for the island is December to March.

Boracay possessed a well-kept secret that goes way back in the late 17th century, where the island was practically unknown to the world, and inhabited by few settlers called boracaynons, who lived among the Aetas in the island of Boracay.

The island would have remained a national secret if not for a few foreign travelers who accidentally stumbled upon the place to shoot a film.

Boracay is made up of three little communities. Yapak in the north, Balabag in the middle and Manoc-Manoc in the south. A small bamboo bridge divides the white beach in Balabag into north and south. Hilly elevations of up to 100 meters above sea level characterize Yapak and Manoc-Manoc, while intertwining trails link the small villages together.

Continuing on a steep path over the next hill, one comes upon the Barrio of Yapak, a hill towering above the ocean. A 10 minute walk from there gets one to Ilig-iligan which has a view of the ocean and with access going to the beach.

This is near the Bat Cave where tourists keep coming and love to experience the place for its less crowded peaceful homey ambiance, perfect for meditation, relaxation and realization of intimate momentous dreams. Yapak is mostly hilly but there are some beautiful beaches such as Ilig-Iligan, Pukashell and Balinhai beach, with its emerald green combined with the bluest waters embraced by the cotton clouds in the sky covering the island paradise.

Although the island is just a stretch of a place, almost far from commercialization and civilization, it is one island where every traveler is free to pick his own piece of memory - a moment spent in the sun, strolling barefoot on the sand, a dip in the crystal-blue waters, a feel of the warm, tropical waters that lap at your toes, or snapshots of children building dream sandcastles.

It is the best place to bring the family to explore the island's quaint interior villages and scenic rocky cliffs by tracking or mountain biking, to engage in aqua sports activities such as water skiing, parasailing, snorkeling and scuba diving.

So if one needs to find a moment to be in heaven here on earth, pack your bags and fly to the island - start your collection of countless warm memories and share them with your loved ones.

If you want to make the island a part of you, take a piece of it. Invest. Own a piece of the island in the beach capital of the world – Boracay.
